Although it is a simple treatment, many people still do not know about the treatment for bed bug bites. Bedbug bites can cause discomfort in our bodies. But, actually what is bed bug itself? Bedbugs are small reddish-brown insect with a flattened oval shape and body size of about 5 mm. Because of its flat and no larger than an apple seed, the bedbug can hide almost anywhere. They can nest in mattresses, furniture, outlet, or even on the phone. Bedbugs usually stay within a radius of 3 to 6 feet from your bed or lounge. Bedbug bites you in your sleep. However, you never feel the bite because it injects an anesthetic fluid that allows them free to suck the blood up to ten minutes. Although bedbug bites do not spread infectious diseases, its their bites may itch and eventually swell. So how do you solve the bedbug bites problem? Here, we will give you some tips and ways to solve this problem and cure the bedbugs bite.

A treatment for bed bug bites to solve the itching skin problem

Itching which is caused by bedbug bites should be immediately stopped by using treatment for bed bug bites. Scratching just lead a skin infection for your body. You can use vitamin C to relieve the itching due to bed bug bites. Take 6 to 8 tablets of vitamin C and crush it with the back of a spoon into a powder. After that, add a little water to make a paste. Apply this paste directly to the bedbugs bite itch. Through the content of vitamin C, you are able to relieve the itching of the skin.

The second way is by using tea essential oil or basil oil. Those two oils are often used in treatment for bed bug bites. Tea essential oil and basil oil can be used as a natural disinfectant for your skin. Moreover, this oil can also kill the bed bug eggs that attach into your skin. Bed bug eggs have a sticky surface. So, it is easy to stick in many objects especially your skin. By using tea essential oil your skin will be not easily attached by bed bug eggs. It aims to stop the reproducing process of bed bug on your skin. As we know, bedbug eggs can cause infection and more severe itching on your skin.

You can also use baking soda as the treatment for bed bug bites. Just apply a baking soda paste to relieve itching which is caused by bites of bedbugs. Baking soda will reduce the inflammation and stop the itching in your skin. In addition, you can take a medical medicine to treat the bed bug bites area. The medical medicine is antihistamines. The bitten area usually is on the face, neck, hands, and arms with a reddish color and a dark color in the middle. In this case, bedbug bites can cause allergies. Antihistamines can relieve allergy symptoms including sores and itching in your skin.

Prevention is also very important. it would be nice if we also prevent the bed bug bites by always cleaning the house. Heat is a major enemy of bedbugs. Wash your sheets and blankets in hot water. Vacuuming the house regularly is also the most effective way to prevent the skin problem which is caused by bed bug. In addition, you can save some soursop leaf under your mattress to repel bedbugs. Hopefully, those ways can give you some information especially in the treatment for bed bug bites.
